While asphalt shingle recycling does exist, it remains a complex and costly process that is not yet widely available. In Ottawa, it is currently inaccessible, so most tear-offs cannot be recycled today. Rest assured, as soon as recycling becomes cost-effective and locally available, we will adopt it.
